The fastest way — deletion is immediate and doesn't require contacting us:
Email [email protected] from the address on your Sprocket account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify you own the account and process the request within a reasonable time.
As soon as deletion runs (in-app or by request), we irrecoverably remove:
Every session is signed out everywhere — any access or refresh token issued to your account stops working immediately.
Not a full hard delete — content you posted publicly that other members can see or reply to (club posts, comments, chat messages, listings) is not removed, because deleting it out from under an active thread would break the conversation for everyone else in it. Instead, it's re-attributed to an anonymous "Deleted Rider" placeholder with no display name, photo, or way to trace it back to you or your account. Records we're required to keep for safety or legal reasons — for example SOS event logs or moderation history tied to reports against your account — may be retained after deletion, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are processed as soon as we can verify account ownership, generally within a few business days.
