# Sprocket

> Sprocket is a free mobile app (iOS and Android) for motorcycle riders: a live map of nearby riders plus a social network. Riders can see who is riding nearby, offer or find a pillion (passenger) seat through Two-Up, join clubs, events and group rides, keep a service log for each bike, and send a manual SOS. Sprocket is launching city by city; the App Store and Google Play listings are marked "coming soon".

## What Sprocket does

- **Live map presence**: see riders nearby in real time. Visibility is opt-in, with three levels: ghost (hidden), friends-only or public.
- **Two-Up (pillion matching)**: riders post public listings offering or looking for a pillion seat, and the host approves each request to join. It includes a women/non-binary tier and blind two-way ratings after the ride. Two-Up is a social board, not a dating or swipe app.
- **Ride recording**: GPS ride tracking that works offline, plus a route library.
- **Garage**: track your bikes and their modifications, with a service log that sends reminders by mileage and by time.
- **Community**: a feed, chat, clubs, events, group-ride formation and a marketplace for riders.
- **Places**: points of interest, routes and road hazards flagged by other riders.
- **Safety**: a manual SOS that alerts nearby riders, and a live-location link you can share with family or friends.
- **Privacy**: exact locations are never shared without the rider's consent. The only exception is an SOS the rider raises themselves.

## Frequently asked questions
